The fourth annual 20th Street Block Party is just around the corner!
This Saturday, August 20th, from noon to 6 p.m., 20th Street between Harrison and Bryant (and-for the first time!-parts of 19th Street, as well) will be transformed by an exciting lineup of music, food, art, and activity.
Food and refreshments for the party will be provided by a delicious selection of restaurants and vendors, including flour + water, salumeria, Farmhouse Thai, Del Popolo, Burma Bear, The Universal Cafe, and Mission Minis.
Block Party guests can also stop by Mutiny Radio on 21st and Florida to watch the live broadcast with a full day of comedy, interviews, and performances, or stop by the Rocket Dog Adoption Zoo to check out dogs of all ages in need of a loving home. The San Francisco Lowrider Council will bring choice classic and modern cars to display on 19th Street and Bryant, and the San Francisco Community Music Center will have an Instrument Petting Zoo where visitors can try out an array of instruments.
Admission is free to the 20th Street Block Party, and food and drink will be available for purchase. VIP tickets are available for $95 and will offer access to a private lounge, restrooms, free food and drinks, and special stage view areas.
In anticipation of the party, a special kick-off will take place during the California Academy of Sciences Nightlife on Thursday August 18 with music from DJ Papolote and DJ Wesburger and food-science experiments performed by Ne Timeas Restaurant Group.
