NTRG Food Drive for SF/Marin Food Bank

With the holidays right around the corner, we’re getting into the giving spirit by holding a food drive at all four of our locations – flour + water, central kitchen, and both salumeria locations – from Monday, November 4th, through Friday, December 20th.

The drive will benefit the San Francisco and Marin Food Bank, an organization with which Ne Timeas Restaurant Group has a growing relationship. In the past, our staff has planned volunteer days at the Food Bank’s San Francisco branch, and last month, central kitchen’s chef de cuisine Ryan Pollnow participated in both the Bank’s Hunger Challenge 2013 and their annual fundraising gala. The Food Bank provides nearly 150,000 people with food, innovative programs, and classes each week. Over the course of the coming season, they plan to distribute over 1 million pounds of food to individuals and families in our community – please join us in helping to support them.

The next time you’re in our neighborhood, stop by any of our locations with a donation. To make it easy, non-perishable items at both salumerias will be specially marked, but any and all donations – from your local grocery store, or even your own kitchen pantry – are welcome and greatly appreciated.
