Last night after work, Ryan made himself a midnight stack of tuna salad with hardboiled egg, which – having not been able to afford bread – he wrapped in Romaine lettuce. After such a long day, however, this protein-rich meal left him unsatisfied, and he went to bed feeling hungry.
Today, the third of The Challenge, was incredibly busy for the crew at central kitchen. Between meetings, prepping for a big private dinner, and then working said dinner, Ryan only had time for one meal:
Chicken and black bean hash with squash and Serrano chiles, served with corn tortillas and a sliced plum.
As is becoming his new routine, he enjoyed the meal with his once-daily cup of black coffee, while finalizing the evening’s delicious menu.
