Volunteers Needed!

Nearly there!

This is the proposed end result.

The Greening of the 20th Street Corridor has been ticking along quickly and noisily but the end is nigh. And what an end we have planned!

The 20th Street Biophilic Streetscape sidewalk landscaping demonstration garden installation will be held the weekend of October 6 – 7, 2012. A limited number of volunteer planting positions are available to those who would like to participate and receive workshop-style guidance on the process of sidewalk landscaping. Materials, tools and supervision will be provided. Prior planting experience is not required. Volunteers are asked to bring gloves.

It will be a fun day for all and a great opportunity to connect with other people in our community. Get a little (or a lot) dirty, have some fun in the sun and enjoy some great food and drinks.
flour + water, central kitchen and salumeria will provide lunch and refreshments.

Saturday, October 6, 9am-1pm
Saturday, October 6, 1pm-5pm
Sunday, October 7, 10am-2pm

We only have 15 slots at each time so please email me at temi@netimeas.com by Friday 21st September to confirm your attendance. Volunteer positions will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

Thank you!
