Central Kitchen is honored to host some its favorite California winemakers and aficionados in a Fall Monthly series on Wednesday evenings beginning in October through December.
To kick things off, we welcome Kevin Wardell owner of Bergamot Alley in Healdsburg and former wine director of flour+water. As he guides us through some of his favorite pours, guests will enjoy a multi-course dinner prepared to complement every sip and aroma of the wines.
In October, John Lancaster and Robert Perkins of Skylark will be our hosts. Skylark Wine Company is a collaboration between Boulevard Restaurant Wine Directors John Lancaster and Robert Perkins. John and Robert have run the wine program at the acclaimed Boulevard Restaurant in San Francisco for the past twelve years.
In November, Mick Unti of Unti Vineyards will be our host. Unti Vineyards is a small, family-owned and operated winery specializing in red varietal wines with vineyard personality. The winemaking includes artisan methods which enhance and support an ability to make wines with a sense of place. Almost all of the wines, and opinions, are unfiltered.
In December, winemakers Chrystal and Steve Clifton of Palmina Wines will be our hosts. Palmina is a Californian celebration of the rich, wonderful lifestyle and attitude toward food, wine, friends and family that exists in Italy.
During and after an incredible crush season, they will be joining us to show off the fruits and wines of their labors!
